Design District DAA was developed to create a creative ecosystem that combines creativity, uniqueness, art, design and architecture.

Objective

Creating a creative quarter based on the buildings of the Central Design Bureau of Mechanical Engineering, previously occupied by Artplay spb.

functions

Concept development and naming, urgent team establishment (leasing, events, and operations departments), functional zoning, leasing of premises and offices, conceptual and content development of concert and exhibition spaces, marketing and advertising of the project, and direct project management for the first 18 months.

Result

15,000 square meters occupied by showrooms, architectural bureaus, and design studios. The largest specialized cluster of interior solutions and architecture in St. Petersburg, bringing together over 190 tenants in this field.

A concert and exhibition space of 4,500 square meters with full occupancy, even during pandemic restrictions, three art galleries with permanent exhibitions, including the proprietary Open Gallery project. Finalist of the "Golden Trezzini" award in the category of "Best Implemented Public Space 2021."
